Our Story
Shåanti Town is a British Sikh-inspired community kitchen on Cowlishaw Road, Sheffield. Founded by Bally Johal, it's built on seva — selfless service — and the ancient tradition of langar: sharing food regardless of background or means.
Pull up a bench, order at the bar, sit where there's room, and strike up a conversation with whoever's next to you. The best conversations happen over wholesome food. No alcohol. No drama. Just good food and good people.

What People Say
"A unique environment and original concept. I enjoyed the full experience here and will definitely return. The food was varied with good flavours prepared with fresh ingredients. I'm vegan and there was plenty to choose from but my friend isn't — we were both happy with the meal. Amazing staff who explained the traditional aspect and holistic wellbeing ethos. We didn't mind no alcohol as it's an inclusive space. The drinks menu was great too. The lounge was boho chic and very relaxing. Try this place, you won't be disappointed ❤️🔥"
